Update..

Hi !! I know its been a while since I posted anything. I've been busy with the girls and researching for our upcoming move. I can't wait to share the news of our new duty station but we are still waiting for it to be official.

I've also been in a funk about life and decided that I need a break from social media. Sometimes I find myself comparing my life to things I see my facebook/instagram friends post, which isn't good. Plus I was wasting hours watching YouTube videos! So, today I've deleted the apps off my phone and redirect my attention to enjoying my life. 

Anyways,  I forgot to post this Mani last month and I know it's not Monday but oh well I want to share it! Y'all already know I love dark purple/wine colors. This purple polish is from ELF and it really reminds me of a Wet and Wild polish I own called Through the Grapevine but a little darker.

I added some stripes using your LA color nail decor polish. The polish with the thin pencil brush. I like to use them and you can find them at dollar tree.

Manicure Monday: Peep Toe Pumps

Happy Monday!! I finally have another manicure to share with you. Since the new year I've been trying to minimize my nail and hair products. I gave away a lot of polish and I haven't been painting my nail but this week I decided why not?! So, with Valentine's Day coming up I chose this cute burgundy color by Julie G.

I have a couple burgundy/wine colors but this  polish seem to be one I always reach for. Which is why it't still in my stash! I found this polish last year on clearance at Rite Aid and I'll be sad when the bottle is empty.

Monday Mani..Red Velvet Lounge

So I've been having some issues with my nails these past weeks. Not only did three break but I've also been dealing with them trying to peel. I've dealt with this issues before so I guess it time to take a break from painting my nails for a couple weeks, boo.

But.. I do have a manicure to share before I take a break! For this manicure i choose a red polish from the Fergie Wet and Wild line.

This is my first time using this polish on my nails (Ben isn't a fan of red nails, o well) and it's very pretty. I did have to use several coats of polish but it went on smooth.  I love wearing this red on my toes and will probably rock it for a couple weeks! 

Hope these issues with my nails resolve themselves quickly.

Nail Wrap Haul..

Hi Guys!! I stopped by the dollar tree  today and found some awesome deals on Essie nail wraps. These wraps retail from $9-$10 so snagging them for a buck is awesome!

 I only brought 2 because these designs stuck out to me. As you can see I also picked up some by the brand Edge. I can't wait to try these out and don't worry I'll let y'all know how long they last!

Monday Mani.. Disturbia

Happy Monday!! I'm super excited to share this manicure with you this week! I have been trying to find new ways to jazz up my manicures so I tried some nail wraps. I actually purchased these wraps some months back but never used them. Now I wish I would have tried them out earlier. I really love how this manicure turned out.  I chose to only use the wraps on two nails and I used my favorite dark purple to compliment the design.

Wet and Wild Disturbia

Isn't this Mani HOT!!?? The wraps were easy to put on and I just used a  top coat to add shine. This Mani lasted a whole week and the wraps didn't lift and I only experienced minor tip wear. Removal was also easy, all i had to do was peel the wrap off. I definitely plan to see what other nail wraps I can snag for a dollar!!

Monday Mani...Crackled..

Last week I found some crackle polish on clearance for 75% off and decided to give it a try. I've been wanting to do something different to my nails and this looked like a great way to make my mani edgy. Plus I was inspired by this picture...

So, as you can see from the picture this polish is supposed to be used over a solid polish to create a crackled look. I decided to pair it with a light gray polish and I think it came out okay. The polish didn't crackle as much as I thought it would but it still gave me the edge I wanted.

I brought this crackle polish in black, white and sliver. I'm going to do another mani using this polish to see what happens if I use a thinner layer but either way at least it was 75% off....

Monday Mani.. Through the Grapevine

Happy Monday!! Hope everyone had a nice weekend. Mine was busy but I had fun visiting my family and friends back in NC. I even managed to find time to repaint my nails a beautiful purple.

Unfortunately this manicure is already starting to chip...but I did do my nails 30 minutes before heading to my best friends baby shower and I forgot to put on my base/top coat. So that might have been the reason it's chipping so soon. Any how this is a beautiful color and I plan to wear this polish again.

Monday Mani..Haze of Love

Wednesday Mani..Sparkling Raspberry Sorbet

What's up!! It's Wednesday so you already know what that means..time for a new mani! The polish I used this weekend was given to me during a secret Santa exchange last year but this is my first time using it. I'm in love with this beautiful wine color!

Isn't it lovely??! I even added W&W Sparkle for a little bling. I'm upset i didn't try this polish sooner. Luckily my gift came with 12 mini polishes which I can't wait to try!!

Wednesday Mani..Mint Apple

Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was very relaxing which was a nice change. Over the weekend I brought a couple new polishes because I noticed that my collection has a lot of "fall" colors. I found a nice mint green for this weeks manicure and here it is..

Wednesday Manicure: OTD top coat

A couple weeks ago I purchased a new fast dry top coat from CVS named Out the Door and OMG. This top coat has to be the best one I have tried. Not only do I like the way it dries my nail quickly but my manicures are lasting longer then 2 days, Yay! Anyway, this weeks manicure features a beautiful mauve color that I think could be worn throughout the year.

Wet&Wild Bite the Bullet

                         
I have quiet few Wet & Wild megalast polishes in my collection and I'm always impressed with them. I only had to apply two coats to achieve this look and the new wider brush made for a smooth application.

Have you tried the Wet &Wild megalast line? If so, what do you think about the new wider brush?

Wednesday Mani.."Hollywood"

It's that time again! So to keep up with the spring theme I chose a pretty pink. I brought this polish back in the fall when my local Ulta was having a sale on O.P.I. polish. Now, I'm that girl who doesn't like to spend more then 3 dollars on polish but I heard good things about this brand and decided to give it a try. This is my first time using this polish on my fingernails and I think I've found my new favorite pink polish.

Also, despite washing dishes and doing light housework this manicure lasted  for 4 days without the polish chipping! Who doesn't love a no-chip manicure..

Wednesday Mani..

I have a lot of nail polish (over 60 bottles) that my husband thinks I don’t use so what better way to prove him wrong then to create Wednesday Manicures. A win, win for me because I love painting my nails and I’ll have a reason to buy more polish, score!

Since it’s starting to feel like spring down here in SC I chose one of my favorite peachy-pink nail polishes by LA Colors called Nectar.
